Copper flow welding rods are used in metal-joining that involves melting a filler metal (brazing rod) and using it to join two or more pieces of metal together. Designed for brazing copper and copper alloys. Composed of copper, with additional alloying elements such as phosphorus, silver or zinc. Lower melting temperature compared to the base metal being brazed. Allows the filler metal to flow and bond with the base metal without melting the workpiece. Flux coating helps to remove oxides from the metal surfaces, promote wetting and capillary action and protect the joint during the brazing process.
